Tu Portal SIGMA is a free-to-use lifestyle app designed by the Mexican multinational food company Sigma Alimentos for its employees. This mobile office management tool allows employees to avail themselves of the company’s services, such as initiating self-management consulting and administrative functions. It also has many other helpful features to help team members navigate the growing Sigma family.

As a mobile platform for employees, Tu Portal SIGMA is easy to use and is filled with the company’s signature brand and color palette. It’s a lot like FIFA Home for employees of the football organization, both being exclusive internal company apps.

For Sigma employees’ needs

Tu Portal SIGMA was developed by Sigma Alimentos (SA) for its employees. This Mexican multinational food processing and distribution enterprise creates processed foods such as meats, yogurts, and cheeses. With over 45,000 employees, having a dedicated mobile app for employee needs streamlines the process and improves the company’s response time in addressing its employee requests. The app also comes with a self-management consulting capability.

The app layout is primarily in Spanish as the default language. It can be tricky for non-Spanish speakers since you’ll have to navigate through the app without support for any other language. It has many features that are available to the public and others that are exclusive to employees. Unfortunately, non-employees can only use it as a guide: locations, vision statements, and recipes using their products.

As mentioned, a significant part of the app is locked exclusively for employees. It requires login information to use. However, users report intermittent issues of the server being down. Users either fail to log in or are suddenly logged out by the app. Other than that, it appears to be working fine, allowing employees to file requests or inquiries through the app on their phones.

A useful SA utility

Tu Portal SIGMA is an excellent tool for employees of the food manufacturing company. It can be used to access company services anytime, anywhere. Although it has the occasional server issues that could interrupt the user experience, it still delivers on its promise. If you’re a non-employee, there is no need to install the app; check out their website instead. For employees, it’s a must-have.
